Chair and stool stand for furniture showroom
An exciting project due to the short lead time, I took over from a graphic designer to turn a few ideas into a more tangible plan. I benchmarked dimensions off the showroom manager's preferences as well as some of the existing furniture stands that were present in the showroom.
A couple of renders, some engineering drawings and a few months later, we had very functional and mobile stands to use!
Atlas Stool
What seemed like a simple barstool design turned into a long conversation with the manufacturer on choosing tube profiles. This stool was designed with sturdiness and stability in mind for a commercial setting. The idea was for it to be affordable to make, durable enough to be used in a bar and haveĀ  subdued aesthetic to match a wide variety of interiors.
Comes in 75cm height barstool and 65cm height counterstool variants. Colours TBA.
Tube chair and stool (name TBA)
These are some initial sketches of a chair/stool that uses round profile metal tubes as its defining feature. A plush foam seat is envisioned to match it. Currently a work in progress.
